Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P’-pressing of Lee Morgan “Presenting” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 1538. The flat rim playing surface shows superficial wear/scuffing, but plays beautifully – clear and crisp – with maybe only a very infrequent tic; inaudible storage splotching. The coated Lexington Ave cover is clean and bright throughout; ¼” wear at the top left corner; a few superficial flakes along the spine; rubbing along the bottom seam, very light wear along the opening on the front; light tape stain st the center of the right edge of the back slick. Personnel include Clarence Sharpe, Horace Silver, Wilbur Ware, and Philly Joe Jones. $750.00.
