Description
This is the 1957, first edition, Flat Rim, Deep Groove, “RVG” etched, “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan's "Lee Morgan Volume 3” on the "47 West 63rd New York 23” labels of Blue Note BLP 1557. Musicians include Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Gigi Gryce, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Charlie Persip.

There are visible Hairlines and deeper marks on both sides.
There is significant surface noise at the run in grooves that dissapate leaving a constant surface noise throughout play on both sides, sporadic ticks, crackle and pops but nothing overbearing. You can still appreciate the Dynamics of the instruments and the record is still very much listenable. I was surprised how well it actually plays considering the condition. High quality Blue Note Pressing that didn't skip or jump once during play. I was still hearing the full tone from the instrumentation. Please note the surface noise is more prevalent in quieter sections and between the tracks
Sleeve : G+
The sleeve has come into contact with moisture at some point in time causing parts at the back to develop spots of mould. Whilst it's still in one piece some of the back cover has become stuck to the outer sleeve hence why I haven't tried to remove it. There is some writing at the back top edge in black pen. You can still make out the image and text on the front , some of the tape has peeled off around the edges taken bits of the first layer with it. The cover is split along the spine of the sleeve and outer sleeve
