LEE KONITZ QUINTET / LENNIE TRISTANO QUINTET, Prestige PRLP-101, 10 inch LP.
This classic release, the very first LP issued by Prestige, contains 8 sides recorded in 1949. The musicians are Lee Konitz (alto sax), Warne Marsh (tenor sax), Sal Mosca, Lennie Tristano (piano), Arnold Fishkin (bass), Denzil Best, Shelly Manne, Jeff Morton (drums).
The tunes are Tautology, Sound-Lee, Fishin' Around, Marshmallow, Subconscious-Lee, Judy, Retrospection, Progression.
Condition of record is E, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays very well for a 10 inch LP. Jacket shows some overall wear, no seam splits.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
We think that most buyers want to receive their winnings quickly, so we offer the fastest mail options and we pack our records very carefully in heavy duty mailers. Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
