Live On Blueberry Hill-LP
no Label listed, no catalog number-stereo33 1/3 rpm 2 LP set by Led Zeppelin. The music in this set was recorded on September 4, 1970-a relic of the earliest days of the group. This particular title, "Live On Blueberry Hill", was one of the most popular and well-loved Zep boots of it's day, coming out in 35 different editions! This particular version, with the blue-tinted photo of Robert Plant on the front, seems to be one of the more rare variations. Live recordings from this era typically do not stand up to current standards. We would describe this as being a good 'audience' recording for it's era. On the plus side, the LP's were cut 'hot' (strong signal) and the recording is generally clear. Bass sound is somewhat muddy, however. The rarity of the material, and the collectability of this vintage vinyl set will be the main drawing cards for most Zep fans. The following is quoted from the Wikipedia website:
"Live on Blueberry Hill (also known as Blueberry Hill) is a bootleg recording
of the English rock group Led Zeppelin's performance at the Los Angeles
Forum on September 4, 1970, which took place during their summer 1970 North
American Tour.[2]
The audience recording is one of the first Led Zeppelin bootlegs, and one of
the first rock and roll bootlegs ever released. It was released on the Blimp
label.[3] The album was subsequently pressed on the Trade Mark of Quality
label and shipped to England. The album sold so many copies that many fans
thought it was a legal record.[4] The sleeve notes described it as "One
hundred and six minutes and fifty three seconds of pure alive rock."[5]
Live on Blueberry Hill derived its name from the fact that Led Zeppelin
performed Fats Domino's "Blueberry Hill" as a final encore. The bootleg also
features one of the few known live performances of "Out on the Tiles", a
track from the group's third album.[4][5] It also features "Bron-Yr-Aur", a
song that would not be released officially until five years later, on
Physical Graffiti."

Think It Over, Lemon Song) Gatefold cover is really just one long piece of cardboard folded into an envelope. Interior folds do not completely enclose the discs, and there is no interior artwork. Back cover art (see our scan-front cover is on the left, back cover on the right) is similar to the front cover of some other versions of this album. Cover shows ringwear and a bit of creasing to bottom right corner. Cover grade is EXCELLENT.
Heavy vinyl discs have plain white labels with no print at all. Vinyl is clean and glossy, with both discs meriting a NEAR MINT grade. Vinyl plays with some crackling at the start of the first cuts, which then recedes greatly behind the music.
