Description
Led Zeppelin "Led Zeppelin ll" - Original 1969 vinyl LP - early UK pressing, purchased in
December 1969 (7 weeks after release).
Very early 2nd press copy, with Atlantic red/plum labels, catalogue no. 588 198.
"The Lemon Song", "Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)" on label listings,
all tracks credited to band members, and "Copyright Control" under track listings.
Matrices: Sides 1 and 2 have 588198 A//2 B//2
Stampings: Side One 1(reversed) 2(reversed) 9
Side Two 1(reversed) 1 1 4
Vinyl: Side A - VERY GOOD / Side B - EXCELLENT
Side One - One 45mm visible scratch/scuff across tracks 3 & 4 & run-off. It only affects audio
with audible clicks on part of track 3 (The Lemon Song).
Side Two - One small visible scuff on side two, track 5, which does not affect audio.
A very short "hiss" at 3:43 into track 1 (Heartbreaker).
Gatefold sleeve is good, but quite worn along edges. Ringmarks on the back. Spine is quite worn.
My name and date of purchase are written inside the gatefold.
Inner sleeve is original poly-lined, but has been written on in large lettering,
is worn through and was taped on one edge, and quite creased.
This LP is from my own personal collection, which I am now selling off. I am not a dealer.
I received this LP new on 25th December 1969, seven weeks after its release. It would have
been played a few times in the 70's & early 80's, but since then, I have only played it three
times - once in September 1990, once in January 1998 and once yesterday, 8th March 2015!
