Description

Led Zeppelin Trouble at The Front live UK 1973 & Jimmy Page Death Wish II Out Takes 2 LP Set

The Historic First Release of High Quality 1973 Recordings

Once upon a time, there were no professional-quality recordings available from the 1973 US and UK tours (aside from The Song Remains the Same). This is the release that changed that. This album includes the first batch of the high quality 1973 recordings to be released, which includes some great encores from Zeppelin's January 1973 UK tour. Also includes some outtakes from Jimmy's work on the Death Wish 2 movie soundtrack, which was his first project after Led Zeppelin. After this album came out, many more great 1973 recordings surfaced, and they have been continuously re-released since then. This album is the first of them all, as far as I recall.

I have many more rare Led Zeppelin and other records in my other auctions and coming soon.

The track list is:

Side 1 & Side 2, track 1 - Liverpool, 14th January 1973

Side 2, tracks 2-5 - Dundee, 27th January 1973

Side 3 & Side 4 - Death Wish II Outtakes, Jimmy Page's Sol Studio, 1982

Side 1: Let's Have A Party (2:06) / I Can't Quit You, Going Down Slow (8:53) / Whole Lotta Love (1:47) / Heartbreaker (6:47)

Side 2: The Ocean (4:03) / Let That Boy Boogie. Baby I Don't Care (5:51) / Heartbreaker (7:00) / Communication Breakdown (4:34)

Side 3: Who's To Blame (2:35) / The Fiesta (2:20) / Fiesta Too! (1:11) / The Chase (2:12) / Carole's Theme (0.22) / The Release (1:00) / The Restaurant (2:47)

Side 4: Hotel Rats & Photostats (3:20) / Jill's Theme (1:17) / Jill's Death (4:30) / Prelude (2:08) / Big Band Intro (1:00) / Violence (2:28) / Sax (2:28) / Hypnotizing Ways Instrumental (2:17)

Details

My photos show the actual item you will receive. Please ignore any reflections or bad lighting in the photos. This includes reflections of my arms, the camera, and various objects in the room and obstructions in the window, including the window screen, or clouds in the sky. The photos might show some dust that should clean off easily, but I can't find my record cleaner right now. Sometimes I copy track listings from online sources, so small errors may sometimes occur in the song titles listed.

Grade (record / sleeve)

NM / VG+. A couple very minor scuffs on vinyl. Remnants of a price sticker on the cover probably could be removed if you are crafty.

All records visually graded. I use the following grading system, based on the Goldmine Grading System....

  • Mint = New, unplayed.
  • NM = Top grade for a used, excellent condition record.
  • VG+ = Average grade for a really nice record, still glossy, possibly a few minor scuffs.
  • VG = Some deeper scuffs or light scratches.
  • G = Obvious wear.
  • Fair = Will probably play OK on most turntables.
  • Poor = Bad.
