Led Zeppelin / "The Song Remains The Same"/1st Pressing Vinyl UK Edition /NM /EX. SSK 89402 Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail tracked or a reputable tracked courier.
Full Description- Ok I bought this double album the first day it was released in the UK I was 14 and it was 22nd October 1976 so I know this is a definite 1st vinyl pressing but the matrix numbers in the dead wx confirm it- they are simply:-
Side 1 SSK 89402 A/ Side 2 SSK 89402 B /Side 3 SSK 89402 C /Side 4 SSK 89402 D with the initials "EG" being the mastering engineer, that is Eddy Goeck I think ?
All vinyl sides are near mint, basically it sounds wonderfully full and dynamic on my Rega P7 with minimal surface noise for a 44 year old album. The Outer sleeve has some edge scuffing and a tiny section of surface damage to the lower left hand front corner, see photo 6. Overall a superb example of this now famous Zeppelin love double. I have only played it full around 10 times and my systems were a Rotel deck, an Ariston Q deck, both with Goldring cartridges and most recently on my Rega P7 fitted with a Dynavector 10x5 cartridge.
