Description

High bidder wins a hard to find PROMO 45 RPM 7" record of   LED  ZEPPELIN's  STAIRWAY  TO  HEAVEN  from 1972.  The record has never been played.  Stereo on on side and Mono on the other.  Both sides note the song is 7:55 in length.  Produced by Jimmy Page.  Jimmy Page and Robert Plant vocalist.  This is on a near mint white ATLANTIC  Recording Group label which has no markings on it.  ST PR - 22401 SP noted on stereo side and PR - 22401 SP on the Mono side.  PR - 175 on both sides.   From Atlantic LP 7208. The sleeve sides, bottom, and corners are solid, showing no signs of the record even being inside.  The back of the sleeve, where the picture is, has some small circular tan colored imperfections-I don't know what they are from.  Also on the back of the sleeve, there is a circular shiny area where the bottom part of the hole of the record would have been when it had been stored in the sleeve.  The front of the sleeve, being white, shows a light outline of where the record had been and a darker inner circle where the hole was-the areas in both the front are still solid.   The top edge is creased, wrinkled, folded, and bent and has some discoloration, but for a 40 year old sleeve, I feel it is in excellent condition.   A record alone, with marks and no sleeve, sold recently on Ebay for $140.00 and the original sleeve like I am selling with the record with marks/stamps on it just sold for $420.00.
