Description
On Record Store Day in April 2018, LED ZEPPELIN released a limited-edition 7" single featuring two previously unheard mixes produced by Jimmy Page: The Sunset Sound Mix of ROCK AND ROLL and the Olympic Studios Mix of FRIENDS.
This beautiful record is pressed on gorgeous opaque YELLOW vinyl. Has really cool-looking Atlantic Records labels on each side of the single, and comes with a removable adapter that can be used to play it on a spindle.
This listing is for one SEALED and MINT copy of this single, mint condition. The shrink wrap is unblemished and the Record Store Day and Led Zeppelin hype stickers are in perfect condition on the front side of the shrink wrap. This copy does not have a price sticker on the shrink wrap.
The sealed jacket lies flat, so hopefully the yellow vinyl single inside the jacket is also nice and flat, but I am not accepting returns if the vinyl is warped or skips.
The Sunset Sound Mix of Rock And Roll provides an additional peek into the fabled Sunset Sound Mixes of Led Zeppelin IV. (Only two previous Sunset Sound Mixes had been released as of Record Store Day 2018.)
The Olympic Studios Mix of Friends is a stripped-down version without the orchestration of the final mix on Led Zeppelin III, offering a true "fly-on-the-wall" feel from the band's recording sessions.
