Atlantic Records Promotional for Record Department In-Store-Play
Atlantic USA 1969
Very rare USA pre-release promotional vinyl record with a sampler from Led Zeppelin's 'forthcoming' debut album on one side and Dusty Springfield's 'Dusty in Memphis' on the other. There are four tracks from each album with each track introduced with a voiceover commentary.
The song titles on the Dusty Springfield side are:
Song 1 Son-Of-A Preacher Man
Song 2 I Don't Want To Hear It Anymore
Song 3 Breakfast In Bed
Song 4 The Windmills Of Your Mind.
The songs on The Led Zeppelin side are as follows:
Song 1 Good Times Bad Times
Song 2 Babe I'm Gonna Leave You
Song 3 Your Time Is Gonna Come
Song 4 Communication Breakdown.
Vinyl: EXCELLENT condition - plays really well with just four or five clicks near the start of 'Good Times Bad Times'. Clean, clear labels with light to moderate spindle trail evidence when tilted to the light.
Sleeve: Has some surface rubbing and marks and has been taped all the way round with some splitting visible beneath the tape. Previous owner name in top left corner. A nevertheless solid copy in thick white card with black print. G+.
Inner: Plain white inner sleeve.
