Led Zeppelin- Physical Graffiti Vinyl, original 1st press B4matrix SSK89400 (SS2-200) 1975. Rare.
Original press from 1975 SSK89400, probably quite rare these days.
genuine first press it has no Warner credit on the labels and instead has Joaneline Music credited. It also has the Swan Song/484 Kings Road address on the back of the cover. The lettering on the spine is printed in red again indicating a first press, the later pressings were printed in black. I'm certainly not an expert but I've tried to research as much info as i can, I'm pretty certain this is a genuine B4 matrix, not a B5 so it's the very first to come off the press.
Condition of the sleeves are not great although nothing bad or severe, there is some wear and discolouration, the glue has come away on just one side of only one of the inner sleeves (as shown in pictures), There is also slight damage to one of the centre window columns on the front cover (centre of bottom row next to the letter 'I'. Please look at the pictures). The camera flash lightens the picture ever so slightly so please bare that in mind and take a very close look at the pictures to inspect the wear. I only say this as i know some potential buyers are collectors. In my opinion i think the condition is good considering the age but everyone has a different opinion. I'm happy to provide more pictures if needed. Please note I have removed the small piece of cello-tape that is pictured in photo 8, no marks have been left, it wasn't sticky so it pretty much fell off. I have no idea why it was there in the first place.
The vinyl's are in good condition, stored correctly, not abused, mishandled in anyway but they could probably do with a good clean. There are some surface marks from being removed from the sleeves but nothing bad or severe, just general use marks. Not scratches. Everything is complete apart from the old paper sleeves, these will be different and newer.
