Description
Led Zeppelin -- Physical Graffiti 1st Pressing on Swan Song records. Vinyl is graded as Excellent overall. Record sides one and two are in excellent shape with hardly a mark on them, and they play great. Side 3 and 4 record has a small warp that causes the record to rise up off the platter in one spot. This did not affect my playback at all, even at 1.5g of weight on the cartridge. It was tested with a modded Thorens TD160 and Stanton 681EEE cartridge. There are a few marks on side 3 and 4 which I tried to photograph also. These are just surface marks and did not affect playback. The record is very clean and still has a wonderful gloss to the surface. It has been ultrasonic cleaned as well. Inner sleeves are in close to perfect condition. Cover is in good condition with normal, light ring-wear, and a couple of worn edges. Both records sound great overall and have wonderful depth and clarity to the music.
Die-cut cover with folded insert and printed inner sleeves.
Pressing plant denoted on label by "SP" suffix to matrix number. Runouts have SM1 or SM2; otherwise identical SP pressing Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti differs by having SRC logo rather than SM1 in matrix.
