Description
No track listing on this 2X album but it is well chronicled in the history of Rock and available. I have owned it for many, many years and played it once before play grading one of sides where there is a scuff mark. It is the Stairway To Heaven track to start and as that is pretty quiet at the beginning, there are some light ticks and clicks...nothing major to completely disrupt the music. It clears up shortly and plays quietly for the balance of the side. The flip side of that plays fine as should the other two as they appear to be Unplayed Glossy Mint-.
This was a seminal event in the life of Led Zeppelin....first live show in the UK in four years, the largst amount of money ever paid a band to play, the largest crowds they ever played for (estimated 200,000 for each show), immense pressure to perform well as a lot was riding in a number of areas etc etc. Reviews were mixed but judging by the recorded sound noise coming from the crowd, they sure loved it.
This one does not turn up often in any condition and though this one has the one defect, it is in great condition for the most part: 3 of 4 Vinyl sides are Mint- and one is VG+. The cover still retains the shrink which completely covers the front and has about a 4" x 4" section in the upper left corner missing. You can still read the words on the spine including "Made In Belgium". Good stuff.
