Description
DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- IV, 4, ZOSO, untitled . 1ST UK pressing with third red/plum labels (Misty Mountain Hop), No Peter Grant credit and Atlantic in central white band. A3/B4 (PECKO DUCK/PORKY) matrix. Dull matt gate fold sleeve and textured dark brown inner with no Gothic Print credit. Vinyl has been kept in a separate white inner and gate fold in a heavy PVC sleeve. One of the best covers I have had for this, on a par with my own copy. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401 002 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is super clean with a great sheen. It has a very light graze on side 1 if tilted to light that has absolutely no effect on playback. Played all of this today on my budget deck, Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds a strong Excellent. Music is clean, clear and loud. Battle Of Evermore" has the cleanest sounding intro I have heard. "Stairway To Heaven" and Going To California" both play really nicely, clean and clear. Gate fold cover is one of the best I have ever seen. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, corner wear and negligible creasing. The inside of the gate fold is really, really clean, faultless. Inner sleeve is also in really nice shape. It retains great shape. It is firm and square with only a fine 1" split to 2 of 3 edges. It is free from the usual heavy feathering to the top edge. This has only a 1cm tear to the opening edge - check out the photos. Really clean labels- again check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging; PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
