Desirable 1971 UK first pressing of Led Zeppelin IV (Zoso / Untitled) on Plum Atlantic label – Discogs Variant 5!

This is the 5th of 9 known plum label variations with every collector-favourite detail:
• “Marketed by Polydor Records Limited” at 6 o’clock
• “Under licence from Atlantic Recording Corpn.” under the Atlantic logo
• “Led Zeppelin” printed above the spindle hole
• “deluxe 2401012” at 3 o’clock
• Famous Side B misprint: “Misty Mountain Top” instead of “Hop”
• No Peter Grant credit on the label (present on the original inner sleeve)
• Four-credit-line inner (Keith Morris photography credit not mentioned)

Dead wax runouts (clearly photographed):
• Side A: 2401012 A//3 1 1 16 PECKO DUCK (etched)
• Side B: 2401012 B//4 1 1 8 PORKY (etched) – mirrored ‘1’ before 9

These George Peckham (Pecko Duck / Porky) masterings are highly regarded for their big, dynamic, punchy sound.

Condition – graded honestly:
• Vinyl: Near Mint (NM) – Extremely clean. Hairline scratches visible under bright light. Plays and sounds superb – as good as you’ll find on a 55-year-old record.

• Gatefold Sleeve: Very Good + – Original 1971 sleeve with expected age wear: noticeable paper peeling, edge tears (especially on the buildings side), and corner rubbing. The iconic “old man with sticks” and ruined buildings photos are still fully visible and look great. Typical for a record this old.
• Inner Sleeve & Lyrics Insert: N-Mint Original and solid for the age.

Genuine early UK plum pressing with the misprint, correct variant details, legendary Porky/Pecko mastering, and Near Mint vinyl. The sleeve shows honest 55-year wear, but the disc is a standout.
