Led Zeppelin – III

 

I am pleased to offer for sale this superb UK 1st pressing of Led Zeppelin’s third studio album, Led Zeppelin III.

 

It has been suggested that Led Zeppelin III was something of a watershed release for the band, as it marked a change from Page's domination of the first two albums towards a more democratic affair in which all four group members offered up their own compositions and ideas - a pattern that would continue in future sessions. The album added acoustic and folk-rock elements to the band's established rock and blues repertoire, which also helped introduce the band to fans of progressive rock.

 

This particular copy has been signed by the bands bass and keyboard player, John Paul Jones. The original owner, Martin, worked as a removals driver. After being very helpful whilst assisting John move house, he was gifted the signed album by John before they parted company. 


The signature is in blue biro. Although some slight smudging has occurred all of the text is completely legible. 



The record is a repressing on the green and orange Atlantic label - it has never been played (hence why there is no audio recording). Excusing the signature, the sleeve is in superb as-new condition.


Overall a fantastic, highly collectible piece of music memorabilia.
