Description

DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin LP- Led Zeppelin III. Early UK pressing with A5/B7 matrix ("Do What Thou Wilt"/ "So Mote It Be") and  cat number 2401-002 label credits. In fully (inside and out) laminated gate fold sleeve with fully attached and  working rotating wheel and pleated interior rear sleeve. In correct white "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" poly lined inner dated 0470. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as per a double. Cost includes insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2401-002. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/VG+. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, some hairlines and surface lines. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays through without jumps, skips or sticks. Sounds VG. It has a trickle of background sound in the quietest passages and between the tracks  and some ticks, mainly in "Gallows Pole" and "Tangerine" on side 2. Original sleeve retains very nice shape. It is firm and square with  light  edge wear, corner wear and light creasing. It has a couple of creases to laminate on rear of sleeve. Rotating wheel is still fully and securely  attached and rotates nicely. Inside of gate fold is very clean.  Very clean labels- check out the photos.  Original inner bag is also clean with light wear and no splits. It has a name and address printed on one side of it. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears anywhere. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER LZ/PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
