Led Zeppelin II First Press A1/B1 EX Vinyl LP K-40037 rare vintage 33.3 rpm

You are bidding on a genuine collector’s item – a very good condition First Press copy of Led Zeppelins iconic second album, Led Zeppelin 2

Production year: 1969 (49 years old!!)

Label : Atlantic / Serial number: K-40037 – runout matrices A1 / B1

NB : this the copy with Lemon Song, not Killing Floor and there are no track times listed, which understand makes this one of the very first issues?

Although i have not played this for many years the record has been kept in dry storage.

I believe that the record and original sleeve / insert are in EX condition, as per;

 Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Please note that side A seems to have a couple of visible surface marks (pls see photo) but i recall that the album played perfectly well.

The outer sleeve is a bit worn on the edges but in pretty good nick for its age!

This rare pressing has recently sold for around £70, hence the starting price noted.

Please note that i securely package the albums that i sell with cardboard offcuts – from past experience i have found this is the safest and most effective way to package vinyl records in transit and is a far better method than LP mailers alone.
