LED ZEPPELIN II Rare ROBERT LUDWIG and LH SS Hot Mix SD 8236 Good condition

RL SS side one, LH SS side two

CTH pressing. LH Lee Hulko mastering on side two is to Robert Ludwig specs as verified by Ludwig himself. This is the hot mix on both sides from the initial short lived run made before the record company remastered it to the dull sounding represses that followed so that it would play on cheap record players used at that time.

Matrix side one: ST-A-691671-1A RL SS

Matrix side two: ST-A-691672-D LH SS

Vinyl is Good. Played with some surface noise and a slight skip or two but sounds tremendous. There are two photos tried to show scuffs on side two song three and bumps on side two in track one and both of my turntables played through with some noise along with music. There are lots of hairline scratches and scuffs. Label on side two is with a plastic name sticker.

Jacket is Good. Surface wear, stain along spine, rough edges, top seam half split, bottom seam small split.

Inner sleeve not original.

GRADING IS VISUAL AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THE RECORD CONDITION ACCURATELY. I DO PLAY SOME OF THEM AND WILL PUT IT IN MY DESCRIPTION IF I DO SO. RECORDS CAN SOUND DIFFERENT ON ONE SET OF EQUIPMENT TO ANOTHER AND LOWER END EQUIPMENT REVEALS MORE BACKGROUND NOISE. VINYL VISUAL GRADING SCALE:

NM Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. We seldom use this grade for used records.

VG+ (EX) A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks that will not affect play.

VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
