This is the original October 1969 US first release and 1st pressing of the second studio album of one of the greatest Rock bands of all time, a historic tone document and collector's item.

Please note: 

All records come from an extensive private collection. I'm not a dealer, I'm a HiFi buff, a music collector - and a professional musician.

The collection is mostly classical, but there are quite some strays into other fields like Jazz, Rock, Pop, Country, etc.

Whenever feasible, the original inner record sleeves are preserved,representing an essential part of the “historical object”. Should inner sleeves be too deteriorated or missing, they are replaced by professional quality paper sleeves OR matte lined sleeves. The original sleeve, if available, will always be included with your delivery.

All records have been thoroughly inspected (with the exception of factory sealed specimens, of course). Practically all records (except sealed ones, of course) have been thoroughly cleaned, using a professional record washer. Each record will reach you as clean and crackle-free as can be achieved by this process. However, imperfections “built into” the surface, due to a less-than-ideal pressing/manufacturing process, or wear, cannot be eliminated by cleaning – a less-than-perfect pressing or a worn record can't be healed by cleaning. Should there be noteworthy audible and/or visible imperfections, these will be detailed in the description of the record. The occasional pop and crackle, as well as the slight rubbing or grinding noises,caused by tiny surface imperfections in the groove flanks, are typical for vinyl records and NOT A REASON FOR COMPLAINT. Please don't buy if you think you can't accept this. Please carefully check all pictures – pictures are considered part of the description. All sales are final.

All records are adequately packaged for shipping. Needless to say, since record albums represent historic collectibles, no repair of worn or deteriorated outer/inner sleeves is usually attempted – at least not by this seller. Historic repair attempts from possible former owners will be clearly recognizable as such and left in original condition.

RECORD GRADING POLICY:

I differentiate between grade of the Vinyl record itself and grade of the Covers/Sleeves/Inlays. In grading the Vinyl record, I differentiate between VISIBLE appearance of the disk and the AUDIBLE result when actually playing the record. Factory sealed Vinyl records are formally graded MINT since they are supposed to be in as good as technically possible condition but can't be audibly and visually tested. The Cover/Sleeve,on the other hand, may be graded LESS THAN MINT, even for a factory sealed specimen, if there are notable signs of storage/handling.

Please note: I may give the grading MINT for a vinyl record from an entirely practical point of view, which is to say that a record may be graded as AUDIBLY MINT even if it is NOT ORIGINALLY SEALED, and might even show some very light signs of playing or handling – as long as it is AUDIBLY AS GOOD AS IT COULD GET WITHIN THE PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS OF THE MEDIUM. For me, as a practical musician and record listener, a record is in MINT condition when the AUDIBLE result is perfect, which requires the record to be a very good quality pressing/copy that shows practically no groove noise, pops, or crackles, when playing (Even a factory sealed album may reveal a lousy pressing with a lot of surface noise...). ALL records (except factory sealed ones)are tested and separately graded for their VISUAL and AUDIBLE appearance. The results of this testing will always be detailed in the description. Contrary to grading the record itself, a grading MINT is given for sleeves and inlays ONLY if they are in practically immaculate condition, like fresh from the print. Insofar, the covers/outer sleeves, even of factory sealed specimens, may be graded less than MINT if they show signs of storage and handling.
