LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin II Atlantic 588198
Up for auction is a early UK pressing (but 3rd label variant) of Led Zeppelin's heavy blues-rock 2nd effort, "Led Zeppelin II". A classic hard rock lp, Great fidelity and sonics on this copy.
DEAD WAX INFO: Side 1 has 588198 A // 5 1 1 1 2 stamped into the dead wax. Side 2 has 588198 B // 4 1 4 7 stamped into the dead wax. Early 3rd label variant, probably pressed in late 1970.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: VG+ and much, much better with EXCELLENT fidelity and a wee bit of noise here and there. Could improve with a good cleaning (although I really gave this a good restoring a few years back).
COVER VISUAL: VG with general wear on this darker brown later gatefold cover. Band name on spine is nearly unreadable but company/catalogue number is fine. Overall ok cover.
Comes with original poly-lined (and dated) die-cut paper inner. Vinyl is housed in a heavy Audiophile plasitc inner sleeve. DETAILS ON SELLER AND SHIPPING

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.
