Description

Purchased in the secondary market advertised as being near mint condition following my own evaluation I would agree with this numerically scoring the vinyl a 91 and the cover a 95.  Following a light cleaning I listened to the album through the Grado’s and, truth be told, this cut sounds better than the new remaster and the 200g Classic Record press.  There are a number of thin surface marks (from the original paper sleeve which has been replaced with a Mofi sleeve) as well as couple of marks which are more pronounced resulting in some surface noise (What Is and What Should Never Be, a little at the end of ‘Thank You, nothing that will get in the way of the overall quality of this cut). This having been said, if you’re into the bass and drums this album has never sounded better; ‘Whole Lotta Love’ and 'Ramble On', all of side two really, were without comparison.  The jacket remains in the shrink which the original record store stamped with the Union Jack and the advertisement that the album had been ‘Specially Imported From Great Britain’.  There is some light wear in the corners where the shrink has worn, along with a minor bump however overall this jacket is in top tier condition.  There is very light ring wear when looking at the cover from behind and I found one tiny crease that ran from the spine into the front cover but nothing beyond that.

Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard inside of a Whiplash record mailer with the vinyl outside of the jacket. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
