Led Zeppelin - II
This exceptional copy of Led Zeppelin's second studio album is a UK 1st pressing on the much sought after Orange and Plum Atlantic label.
The matrix numbers imply that this record was produced during the initial production period. The plum & orange Atlantic labels are the 2nd variant identified via the 'copyright control' publishers credit and The Lemon Song (later changed to Killing Floor) and THANKYOU song misprints.
This vinyl is housed with the original first variant 'light brown' green tinted gatefold sleeve.
Also included is the original rice-paper lined 'safety first' die-cut inner sleeve.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. No spindle wear is visible on either side.
Visual: MINT -
Immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces which show blemish free vinyl in bright daylight. Under the haze of a halogen bulb wispy hairline marks can be seen. A really strong example.
Sound Quality: MINT -
The audio is fantastic. This copy has clearly been played cautiously on high quality equipment. There is no sign of groove/play wear. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and minimal static in between tracks. There is great channel separation, clear vocals and punchy bass. You will struggle to find a better listening experience - a true final upgrade example.
The sleeve looks great. All four sides are clean with bright colours. Subtle rubbing can be seen to the front and rear in places. There is no ring wear. The spine is fully readable without wear. The top and bottom edge show subtle storage wear. The corners are strong with just mild softening.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is very clean, has minimal discolouration and shows only minor creasing. The vinyl is housed within audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
