Description
Original 1st press of Zep II on Australian Atlantic label. This was only available in 1969 i.e. for the first couple of months from release. The record comes housed in a unique original gatefold cover with original gold award sticker.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) Remains in superb condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are two or three marks on either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation. The audio comes across with superb clarity and minimal interference. We did detect an occasional crackle in the odd place, but it's only vaguely noticeable in the odd spot and believe me against the onslaught of Zep - it's barely even noticeable. A very enjoyable rendition indeed.
Cover (Ex) Shiny like new in most respects and certainly devoid of any ageing or nasty marks. There's one crease down in the bottom right corner, but otherwise it is in super rigid condition. Can't imagine there are many knocking around that look this good. The spine is entirely intact. And that interior isn't laminated, but has survived in top condition.
