Up for sale is this original authentic 1st pressing of “Led Zeppelin II” issued in 1969 in The United States with ‘RL SS’ in the deadwax on both sides. This record is a Speciality Records pressing from PA. I play tested both sides today on my Thornes td 320 turntable & the record plays all the way through with the Great ‘hot mix’ with no skipping at all. Both sides play in very good++ condition with light crackles & pops in between songs and a few quite passages of the songs but all the loud parts of the recording sound ‘Out Of This World”. Now definitely see why this Robert Ludwig mix is so amazing. The whole band was on fire when they recorded this masterpiece. Jimmy Page guitar playing & Robert Plant’s vocals really shine on this recording as well as the bass sound from John Paul Jones. Even John Bonham’s drum solo sounds great on ‘Moby Dick’ sounds great on the pressing. The original gatefold cover is also in very good condition with light aging storage wear and edge wear. Also included is the original 1969 Atlantic Records company inner sleeve in ex shape. This album will be professionally double boxed for protection through shipment with USPS priority mail.
