Description

A chance to own a very nice early A2/B2 press of Zeppelin's classic 1969 lp.This copy is on the original Plum Red & White Atlantic label variation, and is quite rightly much sought after by fans & collectors alike for the superb audio quality as heard in these very early pressings.I playtest every album i put up on Ebay on my classic AR Acoustic Research turntable (tracking at 2.5gr) and on playback of this copy,i was blown away by the sheer power of the band on this their superb 2nd album..There are some marks & slight scuffing here & there, but apart from a couple of ticks halfway through Track 1 (Whole lotta Love) there was no sustained background noise/crackle or anything else of note to mention during the playback even in the odd quieter acoustic passage, and certainly nothing that would in any way interfere with the listeners sheer pleasure.I speak as a huge fan of music, not a professional seller, and i'm 100% sure the buyer will not be disappointed in any way :) Moby Dick which is John Bonhams drums showcase, and one of my own personal favourites, sounds awesome on this.!! This non laminated sleeve for some reason is notorious for spine, edge and cornerwear discolouring/staining in the copies i've encountered, and as you can see from the photos there is some of the above present here, but everthing is intact. On closer inspection there is a very small neat signature in ink on the top left inside sleeve. In summary i would class this and the lp in general as a more than acceptable example of this monster of a rock album i'm very glad to say.Unlike other listings i've seen of this lp on Ebay ,i feel this is a very reasonable price for what is a fantastic original lp.As usual any questions are more than welcome regarding the item..shipping etc. Thanks for dropping by.Cheers :)
