Greetings! Up for bid is an extremely rare mispressing of a UK press of Led Zeppelin I. Unique in this mispress is the fact that the labels are correct for side one and two, except the tracks for side 1 are pressed on side 2 as well... Yes, side 1 is pressed twice, side one plays on both sides.
I am not versed on actual pressing hierarchy, but I believe this to possibly be a third pressing. Cover is shiny VG+ with typical creasing from handling and shelving. Sleeve is a replaced non-original. Vinyl is clean, sweet, and beautiful and shiny EX+.
I have never seen this mispress, nor heard of it anywhere else. I've asked Led Zeppelin collectors and nobody has come forth with any info about this. I would like to know more even though it is selling, so if you know more about this particular Zeppelin anomaly, please share the knowledge. Thanks!
Records always ship in true cardboard LP mailers with protective insert, and will ship domestic with tracking and insurance (hence the handling fee.) International does not include registration, insurance, or tracking unless requested and paid for additionally with invoice.
I have twins and work a long hard day job. 4-6 days handling at times is necessary, though not often. This will probably go out within 6-48hrs of payment.
