Led Zeppelin I S/T 1ST PRESS TURQUOISE SUPERHYPE A1/B1 DECENT AUDIO UK LP

DESCRIPTION: Led Zeppelin 1st self titled LP- Led Zeppelin I.  1st UK pressing (though not 1st variation) with fully laminated sleeve with Turquoise lettering, plum/red labels with Superhype/Jewel Music credits and corrected matrix ending A1/B1. Comes in the correct style of "Plastic Bags are Dangerous"  inner (but from 1970).  My own copy for many years until a recent upgrade. Postage costs include full insurance.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 588171 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G+/POOR. Vinyl is clean with a decent  sheen, a fair few brushing lines, some scuffs and some hairlines.  Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on turntable.  Plays VG generally. It plays through without skips, sticks or jumps. Music is clear and loud with a trickle of background sound in quietest passages and an occasional tick. "Your Time Is Gonna Come" plays fine, no issues.   The slow, bluesy "I Cant Quit You Baby" has a trickle of background sound and some ticks mainly in the 1st verse but the music remains prominent throughout.  Cover is in poor shape. Please check out the photos. It has heavy edge wear, corner wear and creasing. Saying that it only has one edge split- 3" to centre of spine. It has some scratches to the rear of the sleeve and a piece of the printed surface missing- check out photo No. 6. Still it is what it is, its in one piece and its an original turquoise cover. You can see that this cover is definitely not a repro, this was made in England 48 years ago. Inner retains nice shape and is clean and crisp with no splits. Poly is still fully attached.  Side 1s label is nice and clean. Side 2 has had a penned name rubbed out and has some light staining.   Record, sleeve and labels have no other writing, no stickers and no sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
