Description
Purchased in the secondary market advertised as being near mint condition following my own evaluation I would agree with this numerically scoring the vinyl a 96 and the cover a 94. Following a light cleaning I listened to the album through the Grado’s and I found only the slightest random surface noise, essentially the sound was perfect (and in my opinion better sonically the new remasters; the guitar is not so up front). Visually I see no issues and the deduction of points are related to the wear on the label itself.
The jacket remains in the shrink which the original record store stamped the Union Jack and the advertisement that the album had been ‘Specially Imported From Great Britain’. There is some light wear in the corners with a nominal bump on the bottom right corner. Finally, because of the shrink being a little tight there is a slight bend in the cover however this all having been said I believe the condition to be near mint.
Regarding shipping the album is shipped within cardboard inside of a Whiplash record mailer with the vinyl outside of the jacket. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
