Description
The Album, which doesn't need an introduction. Not everybody knows that this album might be recorded as next Yardbirds LP. Why? After when Clapton and other musicians had left Yardbirds band, just single Jimi Page remained. ( Yes, Page and Clapton played for a while in the same band. Page used to play on bass guitar) Seems that Lonely Jimi had a contract deals for another Yardbirds album. He has chosen the already experienced musicians on the scene - Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. The album might appear as another Yardbirds album, but it was estabilished to change a name of a band for Led Zeppelin. I hope that anybody reading this knew that, but the others might be surprised.
When it comes to the album which i offer to sell: This is 2nd Pressing with Orange Sleeve Lettering with silver strap and Warner Bros. 7 Arts publishing credit on labels.
The contition of the LP: I decided to divide the rating for two parts, as I often do. This time the reason is so much particular. Visually side B looks worse because of one significant defect. (What is interesting- it has got minor influence on a sound). I will write it below.
Visual rating LP:
Side 1: EX
There are visible shallow marks - hairlines, but there are not many of them.
Side 2: VG-
Shallow marks are quite few. More less the same like on side 1. But there is one significant scratch which you can see with naked eye. You wilp see that on the picture. Which is interesting- it has got no significant influence on the sound like it seem to be. There are no kicks, hiss or crackles. You will read about this particularly, right below.
Sound quality rating: EX
I will not divide the description for two right now. The whole LP sounds terrific but just in silent moments you can hear static clicks, or pops which are characteristic for a sound of a vinyl.
Maybe there are more of them on a side 2 ( this is caused by this scratch which i have mentioned about). You will not witness the crackles, hiss, frying or pops. Nothing like that. It sounds very good to be honest. Page's guitar and hard drums of Bonham are making huge impression personally on me, on this particular release of LP and in this quality of a sound. But the best is Plant's vocals. I will not write too much about that. Aggressive and calm in the same time. And in these calm moments, static click are just few.
Cover: NM
The cover is in ideal state. I was considering EX, but I decided NM, and I think its not exaggerated rating. The cover is laminated, keeps all its glow. There are no scratches, rubbing, dirt, wrinkles or signs. The corners are not worn at all. On the hinge nothing is torn.
The only "defect", if its even correctly chosen word....I would rather say: small inconvenience regarding the hinge: you can see a little wrinkles, but they are too small. On the back of the cover, near the very corner there is horizontal line of width 0.3 mm which looks like a little dirt, thats all. Look up on pictures, it is easy to be seen.
If you want ask me about it or you want more photos or some movies from listening you write me.
