Extended 3 LP Set of Bonzo's Birthday Party
Also includes the last two songs from the last Led Zeppelin concert before John Bonham died.
The legendary Bonzo's Birthday Party album was originally released as a 2 LP set. But this particular auction includes a third LP, which has two more bonus songs from the Bonzo's Birthday Party concert. In addition, Side 5 includes two songs from Berlin in 1980 which are the last two songs from Bonzo's last concert ever.
Matrix numbers on the first two LP's are 32006-A/B and 32008-A/B with The Record Guidance Library labels.
Matrix numbers on the third LP are L.29059 (on side 5 only) plus TRW-1951-E/F. This bonus LP originally came in the Live In Zurich 3LP set.
Recorded in the Great Western Forum, Inglewood, Los Angeles, California May 31 '73, except Side 5 is from Berlin 7/7/80.

Grade (record / sleeve)
VG++ / NM … The first two albums have very minor surface issues. With a a proper cleaning, they might clean up to NM. Record #3 is NM. The cover is a generic plain sleeve that is turning yellow with age, with minor dents in the corners. The artwork insert is NM. It is loose under the plastic wrap. Two stickers on the plastic wrap.
All records visually graded. I use the following grading system, based on the Goldmine Grading System....
- Mint = New, unplayed.
- NM = Top grade for a used, excellent condition record.
- VG+ = Average grade for a really nice record, still glossy, possibly a few minor scuffs.
- VG = Some deeper scuffs or light scratches.
- G = Obvious wear.
- Fair = Will probably play OK on most turntables.
- Poor = Bad.
