Near Mint  Looks like you just purchased & opened it ( No Further Explanation Required)
Excellent  A well cared for item, Picture Sleeves or LP covers have no writing or damage. Only minor imperfections allowed on covers or vinyl. (A Keeper Copy That Will Satisfy Collectors)
VG+  A item that has signs it has been used, Sleeves or Covers may have price stickers or minor wear or initials. Vinyl will show signs that               it has been played but surface noise will not affect listening pleasure. ( A Cost Effective Starter Copy For Collectors)  
VG  Sleeves or covers may have name or other writing but cover/sleeve is intact, may have some ring wear. Vinyl will show signs of being played and will have surface noise especially in the quiet passages, but will play without skipping. ( A Filler Copy For Collectors & Or A Cost Effective Way To Become Familiar With A New Band
VG- Record will have heavy play wear, only rare or unusual listed with this grade.
