Description
Welcome to my ad for this lovely Peter Grant credited Led Zeppelin 3.
The cover as you can see is in fantastic condition. Theres absolute minimal yellowing which is unusual. Its an original 1970 press. The spine is perfect. The spinning wheel works.
If you're looking at this then you will know that the Peter Grant credit makes all the difference as it signifies that this is a 1st press, 1st variant. The number 2401002 without a dash in it also shows this.
The vinyl itself I've played through in full, and it plays great. No horrible pops or clicks. The odd crackle here and there of course but if you're expecting absolutely none of this, then you should maybe get on I-tunes and download an MP3 :) Being honest, in playback, theres nothing worth reporting.
Visually there are some really fine hairlines from sleeve removals on side 2, and what seems to be a faded bit, like a cross. I've tried to capture it on a picture. Its not a scratch or anything, its just faded for some reason. Ive never seen it before. Like I say though, it does'nt affect playback at all.
Side 1 has some hairline sleeve removals as well, but these are also very very fine and don't affect playback. They can hardly be seen even under my light. Both labels are perfect. no damage to them
Runout's have the "do what thou wilt" and "so mote be it" etches. Matrix numbers are A5 and B5
