Description
Vinyl: EX, has some sleeve scuffs as is common on these, they originally came with heavy cardstock inner sleeves as opposed to rice paper.
Jacket: VG+, conservative rating, this is much closer to EX but there is some slight ring wear on the back and one corner pictured has a little more wear than the others. No rips or seem splits and the artwork is all really nice.
Sleeves: comes with all original inner inner sleeves in outstanding shape. In addition, the LPs have been placed in mobile fidelity type protective sleeves.
Sound: These LPs have the sound! Monarch press records have the reputation for having the best sound of all US pressed Zeppelin records and this is no exception. Incredibly dynamic and very minimal surface noise throughout the duration of both LPs. Lead in grooves, transitions between tracks and quiet passages are silent. Some occasional vinyl type sounds can be expected but this plays as good as most of my brand new vinyl so its a solid top copy. Bass is nice; highs/ drums and symbols pop and shimmer..Plant's vocals are centered and out front. Typically when I have a vinyl that sounds this good I look no further at other audiophile releases etc. and I do enjoy geeking out to different versions..
