I grade visually no means of playing vinyl anymore.

My own record collection of over 30 years owned from new.

 

Album is in good condition a couple of slight marks. Inner circle marked K50008A2 / B2 also got the wording Allen.

 

Original inner sleeve in very good condition, due to age some discolouration.

 

Gatefold album cover in good condition, showing slight wear to corners and opening edge, due to age some discolouration.

E+: A choice copy with virtually no wear, 

       Looks like new

EX: Excellent copy with only minimal traces of use and handling, 

       May show very light surface marks / hairline marks.

VG: Very nice copy with slight groove wear, some light marks, 

       Stickers / writing

G: Well played but very nice, with some groove wear / scratches, 

     Stickers / writing / spindle marks. 

W: Worn, but listenable. Considerable surface noise 

     Will be evident, Scratched / Marked

VW-: Very worn, but you can still make out the music, deep marks / scratches / scuffed

P: Poor / Cracked / Split, Chipped, maybe unplayable 

 

SLEEVE COVER - VG+

M: Mint / Brand New / Un-played / Sealed

E+: Sleeve has virtually no wear and looks like new

EX: Excellent sleeve with only minimal traces of use and handling, 

       May show some very light marks or edge wear / discolour / slight unstuck or split

VG: Very good with general edge / shelf wear, some light marks, 

       Stickers / writing / creasing / unstuck slightly /.slight circle marks / ringwear

G: Good, worn creased / Edge wear very noticeable may be torn 

      Stickers / writing / circle marks / split / unstuck

VW-: Very worn, marked / writing / torn / tatty / unstuck

P: Poor / totally ripped, torn completely / parts missing / very tatty.
