Hello! This is an auction for a great copy of Early Recordings- Leadbelly's Legacy Volume 3 by Lead Belly on Folkways. This is an incredibly nice copy of this rare 10" blues record. The cover with this record is in pretty nice shape, with strong corners, no splits, and only fairly light wear to speak of. The original inserts are both still present, too. The original lyrics insert booklet looks almost new, with sharp corners, and is complete. The original reference notes insert card to mail to the record company if the record didn't come with the lyrics insert booklet that it's supposed to have is even still here, and also has sharp corners. The record itself is in great shape, and maintains the original shine. There's only a bit of sleeve scuffing to speak of here... this record is quite clean, and plays through well without any skips or sticks whatsoever. I doubt that this record was played much after its initial purchase. This copy has the deep groove labels, and has the Plastilite "ear" in the eccentric runout grooves. This is a pretty difficult record to find in any condition, but this title is rarely ever seen this clean, with all the inserts present, and with the cover in this kind of shape. You'll be very hard pressed to find a copy like this again, both in this kind of condition, and this complete. This release is over 60 years old, and this copy is only a few shades away from looking almost new. If you want to add a very nice copy of this title to your collection, this would be an excellent copy to go for. I also am auctioning off pretty clean copies of parts One, Two, and Four of the Leadbelly Legacy series this weekend as well, if you're looking to either complete your collection of titles in this series or want to get the entire series. The music on these records is great, and the entire series would make a fantastic addition to any record collection. A 10" plastic outer sleeve comes with this record. I am sorry to say that I only ship packages out to addresses that are within the United States.
Shipping is $3.25 via USPS Media Mail.
I do combine shipping costs, so if you win multiple auctions from me, wait for an invoice. Note that I will only combine shipping for items bought over a two week period. I will hold off on filing a claim if you tell me you're waiting to bid on some items from me that are ending the next week, but I won't extend that courtesy to the week after that.
Due to my job, my weekly window for shipping items out is rather limited. That's why I have 10 business days shipping and handling. I don't always need all that time, but my schedule is restrictive, so sometimes I really do take that long to ship an item out.
