Still in the complete original factory shrink wrap; crisp, bright and vibrant with no wear, creases, writing or soil. Perfectly flat with one small bump to l.l. bottom edge; small break to shrink wrap at bottom, opening edge. No splits.

Pre-eminent San Francisco Beat Poet and original founder of the infamous CITY LIGHTS Bookstore
as a contemporary of Allen Ginsberg, Kenneth Patchen, Jack Kerouac, Neal Cassady, Ken Kesey, Bukowsky, Rexroth, Corso, Levertov, et. al. in the 1950's and 1960's Ferlinghetti was a towering presence in the S.F.  Beat Scene - publishing many of the other leading lights and also pioneering 'Jazz Poetry' with, live Beat readings accompanied by jazz musicians.

SIDE ONE of this landmark LP features Ferlinghetti reading 3 of his works over a quiet, subtle but atmospherically mystical, background music pad (sitar, tamboura, tabla, guitar at various times).
