Description
This is a near mint copy of Laura Marling’s beautiful 2008 debut album ‘Alas I Cannot Swim’. There were two different issues of this album on wax - this is the Astralwerks version that includes the live CD ‘Verses from the Union Chapel’, which is completely unavailable except with this LP as far as I am aware. Marling is already one of the most notable figures in British folk and the leading light of the London Nu-folk scene and this is a stunning debut. It’s also not at all easy to find at on vinyl anymore so grab it while you can. The LP itself is completely mint as I have never played it at all - I only removed the record’s shrink wrap to check the record. Sorry to see this one go but needs must - bag yourself a modern classic while you can!
All my LPs have been stored upright, out of direct sunlight and in heavyweight PVC sleeves. They will be shipped in good quality record mailers with a card stiffener to ensure they don’t get damaged at all in transit. It’s easy when it’s done right - read my feedback and bid with confidence.
I’m having a clear out as I’ve got rent that needs paying and a new tube amp that is costing me a bit of money in upkeep. Check out my other items for sale for more high quality LPs and keep an eye over the coming weeks for many more. Thanks!
