Description
Larry Levan: The Final Nights of Paradise (Garage Records [Antilles/Mango/Island Trading], ZUKI 0084, 0212, 0255, 4517, 0620, U.S., 2009)
A VG+/Ex 5 LP set in individual sleeves. Recordings from the last weekend (September 25-28, 1987) of the Garage's existence. Mixed live by Levan. Titled "The Final Nights of Paradise" on the sleeve, but "The Final Night..." on the labels. Individual silk-screened sleeves feature a Keith Haring LL caricature at the front, with various texts/testimonials at the back. The sleeves are solid but lightly handled and rubbed: no splits or tears but some slight diminishment of sharpness to the colors and text and touches of sheen from fingergrips. The labels are clear with touches of glue bubbling from production missteps, a little light rubbing at the spindle hole, nothing else; the label for LP3A was placed off-center in production. The sides are generally bright, though some light needle marks here and there and touches of paper scuff as well. Aside from some light surface noise at the opening of most sides, there's very little noise; there are, however, three very mild skips at the start of LP1A, middle of LP1B and middle of LP4B - the needle hardly moves, but there is undeniably movement. The LPs will be individually bagged before shipping and very carefully packed.

For the US, we usually prefer to ship everything USPS priority mail or first class with a delivery confirmation number. Priority mail offers average 2-3 days delivery of shipment. Other methods of shipping are available upon request. Postcards, photos, and flat items will be shipped priority mail for best service. We will ship worldwide. PLEASE NOTE:international buyers please be aware of currency exchanges and we will assess shipping rates accordingly. If there are specific exporting problems involving the item that you won, let us know about this ahead of time please. For international buyers any additional costs, such as tax or duties will be incurred by the customer.
