Description
Larry Jon Wilson
Let Me Sing My Song To You
Original 1976 US LP on Monument (KZ 34041)
Here we have a lovely copy of Larry Jon's second album, released in 1976 and featuring what is for me his finest song - Sheldon Church Yard, featured as the opening track on volume one of Jeb Loy Nichol's "Country Got Soul" compilation in 2003
Condition:
Both sides of the record are clean and shiny and free from any scuffs or scratches. It plays as good as it looks - a little very light rustle on the run-in grooves and the occasional static noise between tracks
The sleeve is the nice thick card paste over style which is also in great shape. There is what I think might once have been a small drill hole near the top left corner (about 2" down and 1" in), which I've only just noticed. Hard to spot though - it looks like it's 'healed' over the years. Have a look at the pictures, which were taken today
Both labels are clean and free of damage
Rated as: Vinyl EX- / Sleeve EX-
