Lady June's Linguistic Leprosy LP - Kevin Ayers, Eno Of all the records I've listened to this week this was possibly my favourite. Ivor Cutler was a close second.
It will appeal to fans of Gong, Kevin Ayers, Vivian Stanshall and indeed, Ivor Cutler - it has the same kind of surreal lunacy and clever wordplay.
Anyway, the record has been professionally cleaned (after the pictures were taken) and sounds great. It grades EX.
The sleeve is VG+, it's not laminated but it's not showing its age either.
It comes with its insert which is complete - nobody has taken advantage of the perforations!
More good stuff in my other items.
Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 61. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum as well as being a fan of prog, psych and experimental music. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
