Description
LA CLAVE, Verve V6-8819, original 1973 release.
Condition of record is E++, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks, plays clean & quiet. Jacket shows slight wear, no seam splits. Drill hole upper right, lower left corner is bent.
La Clave are a band of nine musicians from Mexico, Panama, Cuba, and Puerto Rico, led by Benny Velarde. The music features lots of wah-wah guitar and heavy funk grooves.
The tunes are Sally Go Round the Roses, Angels of Mercy, Move Your Hands, Latin Slide, Who You Fooling, The Ghetto, Road Runner, Soul Sauce, Bailia Mi Guaguanco, Cocoa Leaf.

E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
VG = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
