Description

RCA Records Living Stereo LSC 1893, with shaded dog label disc, pressed in the US.  Stampers are 1s 1s.  Ravel, Daphnis et Chloe, complete ballet.  Charles Munch conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra and New England Conservatory Chorus.  See pics for program details.

A very scarce disc.  Although recorded and issued in mono in 1955, it was not issued in stereo until 1960.  In print only a very short time, as it was discontinued when it was recorded again in 1961 (LSC 2568).

Disc NM- a few superficial marks, no spindle wear.  Plays very nicely, with only a very few scattered bits of surface noise, which does nothing to diminish your enjoyment of this terrific record.  Play graded all the way through, jacket VG+
