The holy grail La/Veg version of "Move.." was originally released in 1981, reissued here on 12" for the first time ever, with a previously unreleased B-side (Modern Funk/Soul jam "Anticipation")
"The Larry Smith Movement Band" was originally from San Bernadino, CA, and "Move.." was such a hit in 1981 it was remade and remixed into 2 other different versions. One was under the alternative band name "Thunder " on PPL records, and then remixed again on RCA with different production.
But by far this original La/Veg (Las Vegas-recording studio location) version, is the heaviest and hardest hitting version of the 3. Previous auction prices for the original have soared passed $1000 dollars easily. For the love of the music and keeping the funk alive, City Of Dreams Records & Tapes has made it affordable and attainable for the people on 12-inch vinyl record, with a special never ever heard mid 80's Modern-Funk / Modern-Soul release on the flip side. The track "Anticipation" was brought back to life by "Disco" Johnny Williams, who is also featured on the chorus, and blessed by Larry Smith's magic touch on the synthesizer keyboards and drum machine. Both sides represents the true funk sound of the early and mid 1980's.
