Popular rock myth has it that when Led Zepp first demoed their heavy hard rock onto A&R reps, they were told it was so bad it would 'sink' like a lead zeppelin....(hence the bands name)! Fortunately for us all they didn't quite know to what to make of the new "noise" - and it was with this album that the coinage of "heavy metal" first made its appearance as a genre term to define the undefineable sublime blues influenced slam of Plant, Page et al. This deluxe reissue has not only the essential debut but previously unreleased live concert from 1969 in Paris!!! Happy bidding, no reserve!
