Description

This auction is for 2 original LP Albums by The Seekers, titled “A World of Our Own” & “Georgy Girl”.

 

One still sealed, and another in very nice condition.

 

The open record appears shiny & glossy, and don’t think it ever got much play, being MONO when Stereo was an option.

 

The Capitol Colorband label is quite nice still. I conservatively rate the record at very good+, with a couple of light scuffs/scratches. The “spindle hole” shows zero to very light wear.

 

The covers range from excellent+ to near mint/mint condition. There are no tears, rips nor splitting edges.

The still sealed LP Georgy Girl has a minor nick (1/16 or so) in the album/shrink on the very top of the LP.

 

One is still in the shrink-wrap, while the other is still sealed.

 

 

I have owned them in a record collection (5,000+ LP’s) for decades. The fact of the matter, is, that the Stereo versions got played, and the Mono simply didn’t.

The Seekers “A World of Our Own”….MONO T2369   1965    In the Shrink-wrap.

The Seekers “Georgy Girl”….Stereo ST2431   1966     Sealed LP.
