(..24 HOURS....) by ( ANT TRIP CEREMONY )...... ....( ra fan says: Mediocre production (if it has), but stunning songs and great musicianship on this otherwise lo-fi acid rock monster. It is not too different to what were doing Ill Wind at that time, minus the beautiful female vocals and ballads, as this has the same folkish roots and the trippy atmospheres that i tend to love, also reminds me to The Beat of The Earth's second album (The Electronic Hole) but without the fuzz walls. The only problem is that the sound quality is too murky and muffled, but i can understand why, this was recorded in a very precarious home-made studio with a 2-track recorder, but anyway, the songs really shines and the musicians done an stunning job, also i like the odd voice of the vocalist. I know that the almost total lack of studio trickery, fuzz and the bad production totally polarize the listeners, but just don't expect the studio trickery, 10+ mins. space rock sounding jamming or freak-out driven stuff that most hipsters and other snobbish peoples tend to favour as "psychedelia", this is true acid rock.
