Background: Unison are On undiscovered rarity coming at you from 1976 The album reissued on CD what, and apparently, is one of the most wanted and searched after hard rock album from That year. It is great down to earth in your face hard rock with biting fuzz leads over basic very effective riffing. It is a must for all 70's hard rock collectors.

The Songs: Essentially it is a concept LP about relationship breakdowns, each song being a different aspect of how his woman has done Him Wrong. Sounds corny does not it? Particularly coming from 1976 where the word concept in relation to music, which confined to the likes of Pink Floyd or Jethro Tull. But it is pretty good nonetheless, with tracks like 'Borderline' Delivering did seventies chunk fuzz with insane lyrics and 'Cookin' For You 'Containing so much phasing, you'd swear you were listening to the Marcus LP (From the same year I might add), while the chug-a-lug guitar antics bring back memories of Ramjam.

In Summary: Dealers give the date on the LP as 1984 but the CD indicates 1976 and did the sound fits better. The fact there's a strong disincentive for dealers to give an eighties date Perhaps Suggests a later pressing exists.   ()   In any case, this is pretty much down-to-earth hard rock with Southern blues and traits from a band hailing from upstate New York. One of the most searched after hard rock albums of the mid-70's, and a must for all 70's hard rock buffs. Very good, and very rare. (gdm.glorydazemusic.com)

Guy Van Iderstine's speaking:
The band started back in Unison 1979 or this way. The 5 members have each a different genre of music and this is what brings this music / songs out. They all had input into each song and other songs and That makes each song unique. Since this album theyhave all gone Their Own Ways but each Continues to play. Guy and Bruce have opened for the likes of Gatemouth BROWN, Asleep at the Wheel, Muddy Waters, Elvin Bishop AMONGST OTHER HEADLINERS. They had a hard time for finding good bass players so the band Became known as unison / laughing stranger with 3 players playing bass guitar on various songs later on after unison. For more information on this band and Further Information on what is happening now thesis sites will take you there. www.unison-music.com (Nasoni)
