I bought this LP new in July 1973.
Cover - Gatefold, so no shrink. Cutout slit at bottom left. No writing, no tearing. Little bit of wear at bottom edges. Some ring wear.
Vinyl - Nearly perfect.
Sleeve - Original Dynaflex paper. Corresponding cutout slit, bent in that area.
Matrix/Runout:
Side 1: APRS 5984 2S I — A1
Side 2: APRS 5985 2S I — A1
The I in the runout (I - ) looks like a Capital Eye, the vertical line with horizontal lines top and bottom. The kind you can’t get from the keyboard.
Check Discogs. I fully believe this to be a first pressing, at Indianapolis.
Lyrics inside gatefold. Ray Davies at his best once again. The Kinks never have disappointed.
