On offer here is a rare and in demand Mod LP (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Rhythm And Blues At The Flamingo" by Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames. THIS LP IS VERY HARD TO FIND IN TOP CONDITION!!!! DON'T MISS OUT!!!! The LP has ten tracks that mix R&B, Blues, Soul and even Latin: 'Night Train', 'Let The Good Times Roll', 'Do The Dog', 'Eso Beso', 'Work Song', 'Parchman Farm', 'You Can't Sit Down', 'Humpty Dumpty', 'Shop Around' and 'Baby Please Don't Go'. This is an ORIGINAL 1964 UK 1st Pressing on the blue/black Columbia label 33SX 1599. Any fan of Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames, the Mod, R&B, beat sound, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The flipback front-laminated sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition; beautifully white on the back and just a small 'deletion' punch hole as seen in the pictures. The record labels are in GREAT condition with NO writing, NO wear and just a few light spindle marks!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. The record is strictly graded at EXCELLENT; just a few surface hairlines plus a fingernail mark across a couple of tracks that can be seen but which has absolutely NO effect on the sound!!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brilliant!!!!
